Screw95 Course Review Is Jay Wessman Ripping Us Off?

screw95-review-logo

The ‘Lazy Ass Stoner’ Screw95 Course Revealed

Jay Wessman aka The Lazt Ass Stoner and Creator Of Screw95

Jay Wessman aka The Lazt Ass Stoner and Creator Of Screw95

In reviewing Screw95 by Jay Wessman I’m looking to answer the following questions…

  • Who’s this course for?
  • Does it work?

If you follow the training will ordinary people with no special marketing or technical abilities be able to make money. At the end of the day this is what it all boils down to – right?

I think the answer is yes. Meaning I think I could make money from it and I intend to test the system.

So whats the deal, why am I promoting Wealthy Affiliate training and at the same time saying Screw95 is a good course?

Because the two courses are very different.

Screw95 is all about creating niche product affiliate sites and promoting them in a very specific way.

I’ve never ever seen social media training before that I’ve ever felt able or willing to do before… ever.

Jay’s site promotion method manages to achieve fantastic search engine results by getting other people to do all your hard work for you.

Sounds spammy… right?

I thought so too.

Curiosity and the fact that this is a Clickbank product (rock solid 60 day guarantee) prompted me to buy screw95…..

So will this be a keeper or will I refund?…

Screw95 is a….

….KEEPER!

Why Am I Keeping Screw95?

or what does it offer that Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t provide?

In a sentence… It’s super specific about what it provides (profitable websites) and how you build and promote them.

Wealthy Affiliate is a huge resource and community that pretty much teachers you everything you could ever want to know about making money online.

WA could be overwhelming for some (me  😛 )

Screw95 is a small course that will not overwhelm anyone.

Who’s It For?

ANYONE who’s looking for a simple system for building and promoting PROFITABLE product based niche websites.

Personally the only reason I didn’t refund this product is because of the site promotional method, which I think is awesome.

Sure the video and training quality is top-notch but lets face it there are many courses that teach how to create niche product websites.

Introducing Jay Wessman to explain…

What do you think?

Please comment below if you think this looks good… or not.

Does Jay’s Technique Work? Time For a Case Study…

So What Do You Get With Screw95

Screenshot of the Screw95 members area

Screw95 Members Area

As the screenshot above demonstrates Screw95 is divided into 5 stages, three bonus elements and a concluding video.

All the training is video based. But for those that worry that the videos are going to be long and require note taking this isn’t the case.

Jay in my opinion is one of the most accomplished teachers (true his persona may not be to everyone’s taste) I ever seen. He’s concise and backs up every point with a visual example… simple but so effective.

Also there are absolutely NO UPSELLS with Jay’s course. It’s so refreshing to see training that requires you to buy NOTHING other than the domain name and hosting if you decide to implement.

Screw95 training screen shot of the 1st stage niche market selectionThe research and niche selection (stage 1) and competition analysis is also refreshingly simple and requiring of no keyword tools other than the free ones.

Stage 2 building your niche WordPress website. I thought about skipping this bit, surely this is going to be the same old stuff everyone talks about… WRONG!

Jay simply tells you everything you must do to create a successful niche product website… I’m so glad I didn’t skip this part.

Adding affiliate products to your new website is the next part (stage 3) and if you are experienced in affiliate marketing you could actually miss this bit (it’s only 2 videos)

Stages 4 & 5 for me are where the magic happens. If you haven’t already watch the first video on this page…

How much would it be worth to you to learn this stuff?

What About The Bonus’s

3 bonuses which include 2 case studies of real sites where you get the actual url’s so you can visit them and check everything out.

I love case studies like these, but they are rarely done on real sites because once they go public everyone just copies the sites.

The other two bonus’e cover scaling your site production up once you’ve mastered the techniques.

Finally there is also a members forum which I’ll cover later as at the time of posting I’m awaiting moderator approval.

What Don’t I like About Jay’s Screw95 Training?

I don’t like Jay’s hat!

But he isn’t even wearing one. This is the part of a review where the reviewer is supposed to say something that could be improved about the course.

But I can’t think of anything I would change so I was hoping he’d be wearing the beanie hat he sometimes sports.

So I think the course would be better if Jay was wearing his hat.

Seriously… Jay could have talked about more stuff, but in my opinion that would have just been filler.

This course gives us EVERYTHING we need to make profitable product based websites… what more do we need?

Wealthy Affiliate Vs Screw95 Comparison Which Is Better

See Jay Has Got A Hat!

See Jay Has Got A Hat!

If you want to learn one online technique that makes you money…

Screw95 is the winner!

If you want to learn everything about making money online…

Wealthy Affiliate is the winner!

Seriously Wealthy Affiliate is like an interactive encyclopedia, the amount of skills you can learn is vast, the WA community is inspiring, encouraging,…. awesome.

My advise if you are considering just getting one of these great products.

Try them both out and see which teaching style ‘clicks’ with you.

Wealthy Affiliate offers completely free membership which you can get here…

Screw95 offers the rock solid Clickbank 60 day money back guarantee.

Day 33 -38 Calm Before The Storm

Writing up a storm...

Monday 18th August (Day 38)

Been AWOL from updating the journal since last Wednesday.

Main reason because I’ve had other projects to deal with (damn that real work!)

Also have been slightly restructuring this site linking.

Not much but wanted the main headings to reflect the WA success formula…

Choose Interest > Build Website > Get Ranking & Visitors > Earn Money

With future blog posts being posted under those category headings amongst others.

I’ve decided to also add another review page and use Google Analytics to a / b split test. No real hurry to do this as traffic is still low, but I think this is a good idea going forward.

Calm Before The Storm?

I’m quite happy with the core site content, and now feel it’s time to start adding keyword focused content to start gaining search engine visitors, and hopefully start seeing some keyword rankings.

I feel I need to do a lot of this, and have pictured a powerful storm of activity…

Writing up a storm...

This will be following Kyle’s and the WA team awesome excellent keyword training. Click the image below to watch Jay’s guide to content and article research…

WA Tutorial on researching for content idea's ... Keywords content rankings and visitors

Click here to find out more about writing content that ranks and wins search engine visitors…

Objective is to identify the next 5 keyword targeted content titles.

Output from previous 5 days has been to create 4 new pages and add a category for each of the WA steps to success.

Time Taken – This took 6 hours over 4 days.

Day 32 – Don’t Be A Pussy! Time To Make Some Money…

Don't be a pussy time to start making some money online

Wednesday 13th August 2014 – Time To Make Some Money

Don't be a pussy time to start making some money online

That’ll Be Me Then…

Following yesterdays first months results and next month goals post I’ve decided to call myself out.

I woke up this morning with the title of this post in mind because I feel I’ve wimped out.

This months objectives are covered here.

I wont regurgitate them again, I did think carefully about them and will stand by them…

But…

I want this site and this journey to inspire people to build their own site. I really do believe everyone can build a profitable website.

Websites that when set up and running can earn people from a few hundred dollars extra per month right up to many thousands of dollars.

And have some fun doing it too.

But if I simply document some two year grind to generate $1,000 per month…

I’m going to put people off.

So…

How Do You Speed Up The Make Money Online Process

how to speed up online profits by getting more targeted visitors and improving conversion1. Increase TARGETED visitors

2. Improve conversions – re-write the review page because I don’t feel it does WA justice.

How to increase targeted visitors – Over the first 3 months I planned to only use free traffic methods. So I will stick by that.

This means creating keyword targeted content that is very easy to rank in search engines. I can do this through articles and YouTube videos (we’ll see).

Syndicating this content through my syndication network (when I build it)

Targeting make money online interest groups / forums (I’ve added this here because some people are great at this type of forum / social marketing – I don’t feel this plays to my personal strengths though).

How to increase conversions – I want this site to be an honest helpful resource, no hype or BS of any kind. So I’m not planning on going crazy with red headlines and the usual crap.

However I wrote the review page early in this challenge and though I don’t think it’s terrible, I do think it fails to capture the essence of Wealthy Affiliate membership. It needs re-writing!

I have Google Analytics installed so I will be able to see how people react to the review page, and if I want to be really fancy could create a second version of the page and let Google tell me which page converts the best.

I got some serious work to do now…

Today’s Objective is to complete my daily actions and really start building the elusive content syndication network.

Outcome

Time Taken – 2 hours so far to create this journal entry.

Day 30 – Content Marketing Social Media Strategy

Social media takes time

Monday 11th August

Content marketing social media strategy

Right after two days and nights pondering.

I went through Kyle’s social media training again…

and finally feel I have my content marketing social media strategy.

This is going to be the most important lesson of this entire course for many of you and hopefully it is going to help you comprehend both the positives and negatives that social can have on your activities online.

Kyle clearly thinks social media’s important!

The above quote comes from the final lesson of the Online Entrepreneurship certification training. The level 4 Mastering Social Engagement series.

Social media takes timeLesson 10 in particular really get’s you thinking about how social media can work for you, but also sets some parameters to guard against simply wasting time.

For me doing this training again really helped me crystallise my thoughts.

I’ll cover how I went through the training below, but for now let me just skim over some of the social media evaluation criteria.

Firstly Kyle suggests that the time taken to deal with social media and reply to comments, questions and emails should be about 45 minutes per day (split morning, noon, end of day, or something similar)… seems doable?

You then need to question for EACH social network WHAT you want from it…

  • To gain more followers in my niche
  • To increase traffic to my website through posting
  • To increase my brand presence
  • Offer customer service to my potential and existing customers

Next HOW are you going about it…

  • Adding content related to my niche/business (including other peoples content)
  • Starting Discussions Related to my niche
  • Posting all new and valuable content (articles, videos, and pages)
  • Offering Support and communication via the private messaging

Kyle WARNING…

You need to pick and choose which social networks you are going to “engage” within and which ones you are not. There is only so much time in any given day and you may be doing yourself and business a complete disservice by being too social…

Don’t let socializing supersede your “creation” tasks. Creation leads to business growth. If you are not building and you are only socializing, your business is going to suffer as a result.

share good content is the bare minimumThe alternative to engaging (joining the conversations, following others, asking questions, starting discussions etc) is SHARING.

Sharing great helpful content does serve the community, but sharing takes a lot less time than full on engagement.

What’s the minimum I can do and still see positive results?

Kyle will get that one…

Bare minimum activity is sharing something on a social network but always make sure your priority remains building quality content. Do not let anything interfere with this, not even social. It will lead to much more short term and long term success and yes, more social engagement. See this lesson here….

My Social Media Self Evaluation Process

Previous day posts (post 1 , post 2) cover what I shall summarise as my lack of confidence in myself to be able to glean anything useful from social media.

I don’t have a following on any network, and I don’t really use Facebook (where I do actually have some friends  😛 )

I also really want to focus on creating content.

So my ‘why’ for all the social networks is…

  1. Increase traffic
  2. Gain links back to my website
  3. Brand presence

Any thing else will be a bonus.

Going forward I may choose to increase activity and even start to be proactive in discussions.

My How is…

  1. Adding my unique content (text, video, and image)
  2. Posting other peoples relevant content.

I an delighted to offer support and help but would like to try and focus that on email, website comments, Facebook page comments, and whatever results from Google +.

I now have accounts with…

Facebook Page
YouTube Channel
Google +
Pinterest
Twitter

And plan on adding…

Instagram
Wordpress.org free blog
Blogger free blog
Tumblr free blog
Reddit

I plan on sharing a lot (70%) of other peoples (good relevant) content on these sites. I don’t want these sites to be obvious self promotion.

I feel good about this strategy to start with. A bit of a cop out maybe, but I can become more adventurous as things develop.

I should also be able to get this done in about 1 hour a day (we’ll see).

Today’s Objective
Decide upon and publish my social media strategy post

Complete my Daily Actions

Output
This social media strategy post

Time Taken
3 Hours

Day 29 – Play To Your Strengths

Play to your strengths quote

Sunday 10th August 2014

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Digg, Linkedin, where do you start... and finish?Yesterday’s post was about making social media a good investment in time.

For me I have serious doubts about my personal ability to make social media a time viable investment.

To catch up with this thread read yesterdays post here…

I realise for some people social media is the number 1 source of targeted traffic. So I’m under no illusion social media works.

But can it work for people like me?

I haven’t had a chance to re-study the WA social media training yet.

But did have some further thoughts on the subject as I awoke this morning.

My wife Susanne made the very valid point yesterday, that I don’t ‘engage’ at all on social media. I have friends of Facebook who post continuously, but I’d nearly always call them rather than posting a comment on Facebook.

Being an ex recruiter I have built a large network on Linkedin, but again I’d always take the business communications to the telephone or in person.

Playing To Your Strengths

When advising people on CV development and interview strategy I’d always recommend that people ‘played to their strengths’ rather than try to shore up their weaknesses.

I haven’t seen this point emphasized any better than by Rich Schefren who is an ex big 4 Management Consultant who has gone online to become the worlds top online business consultant (really, no exaggeration).

Rich is all about advising companies and people who want to develop multi-million dollar online businesses. Real businesses with employees and offices, not actually what I want.

Go here to read Rich Schefren’s Internet Business Manifesto. If you want to build a real business online take the time to read Rich’s free report it’s awesome…

So if I take my experience with Linkedin as a model (Linkedin was a very profitable investment of my time). I actually used paid services to build a network. This large network increased by ‘reach’ (more information about more people). I did not engage at this point.

Once I’d identified people I thought my clients would be interested in I’d usually telephone them directly (I’d have to do a little work here to uncover the contact details) or if the interest was more for the future I’d try and link up with them directly on Linkedin.

However each placement was worth on average £9k so though this all took a lot of time it was well worth it.

I also really enjoyed talking to these people (maybe I can do this social thing after all?).

Parking this train of thought for the time.

Be Careful Of What You Wish For – Plan Your Perfect Outcome Then Work Back

The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss

A Good Read

Tim Ferris in his famous lifestyle book ‘The 4 Hour Work Week‘ describes how through poor planning he created a wonderfully profitable business that he HAD to spend 70 hour weeks working or the whole thing would collapse.

This was not his perfect outcome!

The workload led to a breakdown.

The solution to this problem is to be way more specific about what you want.

“A $10,000 a month online business” is nowhere near detailed enough.

I Don’t Want To Ever Retire!

My perfect outcome see’s me daily working my ‘online lifestyle business’ for as long or as little as I want (probably with the help of a ‘virtual assistant’) for as long as I’m able.

I see day’s when I won’t even login.

The work I do is centered around helping people develop their own online lifestyle business (I really believe everyone can have one).

I would like to think that as this WA Challenge progresses I will be able to help others travel this same road (hopefully with a few short-cuts), and that my success and failures can be used for mutual benefit.

How does all this relate to my use of social media?

I’m scarred of biting off more than I can chew. I seriously hate poor customer service (one of my weird personality traits), and hate the idea that I might be the cause of it.

Like Kyle said in his WA training “do it right or not at all”

I’m going to again delay the decision on my social media strategy another day and revisit the training again now.

Objective
To at least complete a 500 plus word journal post.

Add an Amazon affiliate link for The 4 Hour Work Week (I am training to be an affiliate after all  🙂 )

Re-study the WA social media training.

Outcome
730 word journal post

Added Amazon link to Tim’s book above.

Repeated Kyle’s social media engagement training again.

Set up a new @TheWAChallenge Twitter account ooohhh…

Time Taken
2.5 hours (way slower than yesterday) for the post.

2 hours redoing the training and setting up Twitter.

Day 22 – Avoiding Gardening

Prefer doing web stuff than gardening.... if proof where needed.

Sunday 3rd August 2014

Prefer doing web stuff than gardening.... if proof where needed.

Gardening V Web Stuff?

I have a potentially nice garden.

But I’d rather do website stuff than work in the garden.

Criminal really. I must be the worst gardener in England?

Could this be my super power ? (see yesterdays post)

Anyway yesterdays poor performance means my objectives are carried over again!

However my success depends on me… avoiding the gardening once more…

finding your niche market

Clicking the image above will take you to the niche selection post.

Took me way too long but just hit publish in the end.

Objective
To finally publish the niche selection post.

Record Niche Selection Video

Did also avoid gardening again! yes I’m counting this as a victory.

Output
Niche Selection Post published here.

Time Taken
About 4 hours – Really only added a little content, but ended up doing about 3 hours more research which I didn’t use in this post.

Will almost certainly add more posts on related subject matter as the topic is so interesting and important.

Day 21 WA Challenge Niche Segmentation And Positioning

Branding positioning and market segmentation

Saturday 21st August

Feel like I’m getting myself a little behind as my niche selection post is now into it’s third day.

Probably shouldn’t beat myself up about it, but I am frustrated at how long it takes me to write content  😡

Objective has to be to finally publish the niche post.

If I don’t I’ll have to take myself outside and beat myself with a large stick.

Also been sleeping on the questions…

  • Is my niche segmentation right?
  • What is my positioning and how can I improve it?

It’s clear from doing my niche research that getting fast traffic to this site is dependent on me creating good content with beatable competition.

So far I’ve don’t feel I’ve done that, though I do feel it’s good visitor friendly content (yes, I do realise it can always be better).

By positioning I’m referring to Frank Kern’s teachings on the subject…

So my situation is that I’m a student of internet marketing with NO super powers and I stand for honesty and against hype and BS.

Mmm… doesn’t sound very sexy or compelling…

Or does it?

Marketing is about influencing people and honesty counts for a lot.

So I could  partially re-brand my challenge as my search to discover my ‘super power’.

Branding positioning and market segmentationLike this idea. Anything that involves imagery of dressing up with capes and pants on the outside…

Frank in other videos also explains that positioning and market influence grow as your perceived to move from…

  • Generalist to…
  • Expert to…
  • Authority
  • Celebrity
  • Celebrity Authority (think Tony Robbins, Donald Trump and any number of celebrity chefs you see on TV)

So in terms of my journey I’m starting at student heading towards ‘generalist’ and if I discover something I’m good at I could become ‘expert’.

So in terms of market segmentation I’m still wrestling with the idea of identifying the best sub niche from the too broad ‘make money online niche’.

If in doubt think of people like yourself…

English male over 50… thinking retirement… pension… new hobby?

I’ll let that seed continue to develop.

Saturdays Objective
Do whatever Susanne wants me to do around the house… 😕

Sneek off to finish my posts.

Outcome (update Sunday 3rd August)
I didn’t get back to website stuff at all.

Only managed this post!

Did earn massive brownie points with Susanne  😛

Including cooking a Sri Lanken Lamb Curry, healthy Onion Bhaji’s and Cauliflower Pilau rice (Cauli instead of real rice great if you have food intolerance)

Time Taken
45 minutes to do this post.

Day 20 – A Time For Reflection?

Reflection

Friday August 1st

Reflection

Keeping with the approach of writing the objectives for the post the day before I complete and publish.

I’ve never kept a journal before, though I love note taking.

I’m finding I want to add more thoughts and feeling to the content with this approach.

Good thing or bad thing?

Please let me know in the comments below.

Maybe it comes across a pretentious crap?

Anyway I’ve had a bit of a mental wobble regarding the target niche of this site.

Have decided to create a ‘strategy’ page that will outline my initial marketing plan and document how it may evolve.

Also down the line like the idea of testing different marketing strategies and again recording the results.

Objective
Complete Niche Post

Create and Post Niche Selection Video

Start Strategy Page.

Output
Did create and publish my content marketing strategy page

Failed to deliver other objectives (the niche selection post is now over 1700 words but not ready for publishing)

Time Taken
4 Hours – flew through the strategy page, really struggling to get the niche selection post the way I want it…

Day 19 WA Challenge – Content Marketing Strategy Anyone…

Something Different

Something Different

Thursday 31st July – A Little Different

Writing this element the day prior (Wednesday)

I wanted to set my objectives in advance and see how things may change.

Objective (set yesterday)
Create a piece of content page or post that I feel is good enough to also create a YouTube video about.

Add YouTube video and publish it.

Time allowing ‘brand’ my YouTube Channel profile.

OK so now I’ve come back on Thursday to finish the post.

The post I decided to create is on niche selection.

Niche selection is a real deal-breaker of a decision.

Get it wrong and hundreds of hours could be wasted!

In researching this post I also wanted to represent the best thinking I could find on the subject.

Which in turn has lead me to question my approach with this site  😕

I like the challenge type idea. Love those goal based real life reality type shows.

But should I niche down further than folks interested in making money online using the Wealthy Affiliate training resources?

I think the answer is YES…

I’ll sleep on this.

How Did I Do Against My Objectives?…

Badly  😥

Well I’ve written quite a lot of the niche selection post. But sidetracked myself reading all the interesting content.

How can I compete with such good content?

More words…

More Images…

Videos?

Everything – throw the kitchen sink at it.

Undecided will sleep on this too!

Obviously no Video created or produced either.

Good News

Did manage to create and publish a page on my content marketing strategy. 😀

Born of the indecision regarding the niche post. I suddenly got the need to define my strategy in a page chronologically tracking how it might change over time.

Having never ever kept a personal diary or journal. I quite like the idea of recording my objectives for the next day, and then seeing how I  actually do against them.

I think this maybe quite self illuminating….

I hope this may also be more interesting if anyone reads it.

Output

Missed all objectives.

Added a Content Marketing Strategy page.

Time Taken

2 hours researching Niche Selection

1 hour writing my niche selection post (not complete)

1 hour writing and publishing a page on my content marketing strategy.

Days 17 and Day 18 – Wealthy Affiliate Must Know…

Must Know journal post... struggling for inspiration

Must Know journal post... struggling for inspirationTuesday 29th July 2014

Started writing a ‘getting started’ page.

The idea to provide help for anyone looking to start with WA.

Writers BLOCK!

Not that I’m a writer, but I just couldn’t get going.

So just wrote stuff in the WordPress editor without thinking to much.

2 hours later I had some stuff I liked.

And a lot I didn’t  😕

Decided it wasn’t a ‘getting started’ page.

So my “Wealthy Affiliate 5 Things Everyone Should Know Before They Start” or ‘Must-Know’ (as it shows in the header navigation) page was born.

Still not loving it, but it’s important to keep moving forward.

Saved as draft.

Had a glass of wine with Susanne as I helped cook dinner  😛

Finished and posted the ‘Must Know’ page.

Added some images and though I’m still so-so about it, decided to hit publish.

Also added the privacy page which I had forgotten.

Linked my sidebar About Me widget with my  profile page on Wealthy Affiliate.

The other idea I had.

Was to write my daily objectives the day before. To really see how things pan out.

My Content Marketing Strategy

content creation training

Wealthy Affiliate Content Marketing Strategy

What Is Content Marketing ?

Content marketing is any marketing that involves the creation and sharing of media and publishing content in order to acquire customers. This information can be presented in a variety of formats, including news, video, white paperse-booksinfographics, case studies, how-to guides, question and answer articles, photos, etc. Wikipedia.

The above definition is almost right for my situation.

Personally I am not directly selling anything.

I’m an affiliate for Wealthy Affiliate and get paid a commission if someone joins WA  from this website.

I am a student and paid member of WA and my concept is that of setting myself a challenge and recording my journey and results (good or bad).

Using TV's The Biggest Loser as an example of the popularity of real life challenge format contentThis is obviously not a unique concept, it’s done all the time in reality TV (think Biggest Loser) and on the Internet through countless 30, 90 day challenge variations.

I personally enjoy watching / reading these challenges because you get the journey towards the goal complete with all the emotional and instructional content.

I plan on updating this page as and when anything significant changes. But not deleting what went before so the page may chronologically reflect the journey.

So what is my content marketing strategy…

Ultimately I want to create an evergreen and evolving site that occupies my main online marketing efforts.

My personal objectives are more about creating a very small ‘lifestyle’ business that doesn’t require me to put in 8 hour shifts.

If you’ve read “The 4 Hour Work Week” By Timothy Ferris you’ll know what I mean.

Site Content Plan

Initially this is going to be journal posting combined with adding more detailed posts and pages.

The posts and pages are going to be about Internet Marketing / Content Marketing written from the perspective of a student who has some basic site building experience.

The promotion of Wealthy Affiliate and any other products and services to be understated rather than hype.

Also I want to showcase other peoples success stories adding mine as they hopefully ( 😛 ) develop.

I would I like to add and potentially test other online marketing strategies. An example would be Amazon product review and comparison sites.

I would like the site to grow into an ‘authority’ site (50 post / pages plus) and am prepared for this to take a long time. Initially I’d hoped that by 90 day’s I’d be seeing 7,000 plus visitors a month. But concede in this niche I may have to wait longer… we’ll see.

It’s Not IF but WHEN…

The above statement may have to become my mantra.

So in a nutshell…

  • First 90 days create as much unique quality content as I can.
  • 30 Days have created a network of ‘profile’ syndication sites to promote this site (more on this below)
  • Re purpose my best content into as many mediums as I’m able (video, pdf, image, article etc) and share through my syndication network.

Also wanted to emphasize a point Kyle makes in the WA training, that the early content should not be all about keywords. Rather about quality and what feels right.

What Is A Profile Syndication Network?

I read an SEO article recently that appealed.

Search Engine Optimization unfortunately comes with the territory if you’re marketing content.

However if your over zealous with your SEO Google penalises your site lowering or removing it from their rankings 😥 .

The biggest cause of penalties being that of overly aggressive use of back link building. Back links being the links to your sites from others on the Internet. In overly simplistic terms the idea being the site with the most links rises the highest in Google search engine results.

But you need links?

By building a network of personal profile web 2.0 sites surely I risk being penalised?

I hope not.

Back to the article (unfortunately I can’t remember exactly who’s it was… sorry).

Anyway the idea is to build a network of premium quality profile (put your own name and brand to them) sites…

  • WordPress.org
  • Tumblr
  • YouTube
  • Redditt
  • Pintrest
  • Blogger
  • Slideshare

The above is a very short list of examples, there are many more.

You then promote / share fantastic content on these sites that you think people will like.

NOT just your content!

In fact possibly as little as 30% of the content should link back to you.

No spam, no unreadable spun crap, no overt look at my stuff messaging.

Done correctly I should see both back links, but more importantly visitors…

In my opinion this sounds like a good way of doing back linking?

I’ve never done this, so am keen to test it, but worried it may take too much time?

Another of my personal challenges was to try and use a lot more video marketing, so we’ll also see how that goes…

Please ask any questions, suggest any improvement in the comment below.

Thanks for reading.

Wealthy Affiliate – 5 Things Everyone Should Know Before They Start

Before starting Wealthy Affiliate Know These 5 Things #1 It Works!
Getting Started - The 4 steps to making money online

Focus And Take ACTION

In A Nutshell

The above graphic illustrates a 4 step proven formula for making money on the Internet.

  • No magic buttons
  • No secret loopholes
  • No BS

and…

It WORKS! (#1)

Before starting Wealthy Affiliate Know These 5 Things #1 It Works!

Wealthy Affiliate Really Works!

Read about some of the no prior experience real people success stories here, if in doubt.

On a more grounded level It requires serious HARD WORK (#2)

Success following the Wealthy Affiliate training really does require hard work.... sorry.

Hard Work Required

The training is great, it teaches anyone how to find great ideas and create compelling reader / watcher content.

Content is typically written, but can also / alternatively be video or image based.

The success stories are real inspiring, but most of these folks struggled for the first three months.

Google typically ‘sandboxes’ new sites for 1 – 3 months depending on who you listen to.

This means for many the first 3 months are hard work with little positive feedback from the big ‘G’.

Yes; there are many other ways of getting visitors other than from search engines alone. But the first three months within WA are all about creating a real long-term quality website.

And the content required to do that (minimum 3 good articles per week) for one person is a lot of work.

#3 It’s A Steep Learning Curve

The WA training gets you moving very fast. It is however a steep learning curve. Take your time.If you’ve never done anything like this before, give yourself a little time.

Most people (me) want to gobble up the training in a couple of days, and be making money at the end of the week.

Some folks are blessed with super retentive memories, but for the majority (me again) it’s better to take a little time and refer back to the training / community support (so good) as often as required.

But think of that hungry man analogy…

Be nice to give him food.

But better to teach him to fish.

Get this stuff right, and you’ve taught yourself how to make money independent of the man…

#4 You’ll Likely Mess It Up!

Never give up - keep falling forward....

Never Give Up!

It’s the reason you get two free websites with the basic Wealthy Affiliate membership.

You can test things out, learn from mistakes, or simply start afresh.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised how easy the website building and techie stuff is.

But as you learn more, and progress your ideas are likely to change.

What seemed a great idea when you did the niche discovery training, suddenly fills you with dread when it comes to creating content.

All good…

Roll with the blows, keep falling forward.

Finally The Devious Wealthy Affiliate Sales Strategy (#5)…

WA are guilty of using one of the most powerful psychological selling techniques ever created…

Reciprocity

Leveraging reciprocity is a fantastic foundation for a business... Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how.

Reciprocity definition – Reciprocity in social psychology refers to responding to a positive action with another positive action, rewarding kind actions. As a social construct, reciprocity means that in response to friendly actions, people are frequently much nicer and much more cooperative than predicted by the self-interest model; conversely, in response to hostile actions they are frequently much more nasty and even brutal. http://ift.tt/KQMsg3

WA Profits From Repository And So Will You

Meaning Wealthy Affiliate is a business and needs some paying customers to cover the overheads and provide Kyle and Carson with pocket money (they look very young to me 😛 ).

So they give us a fantastic free experience, great training, community, websites, and hope…

We rightly love it, and upgrade to premium membership asap.

Personally I think this is the coolest way I’ve ever been sold to.

And I would suggest that’s the ethos of the training.

Kyle and Carson know that the most money is earned by helping people BEFORE looking for anything in return.

The training teaches people how their business can benefit from the LAW of Reciprocity…

So build your website / business on the sound foundations of reciprocity by clicking the image below…
